Bidna Capoeira is a Capoeira outreach program that was built on the work of their sister organization CapoeirArab (who we've written about here, here, here, here, and here). Currently, Bidna Capoeira is working with UNWRA and teaching Capoeira to 480 kids in 5 West Bank refugee camps. The above video is their first in a series of animations where their Bidi character explains the basics of Capoeira and how Bidna Capoeira can positively effect kids in distressed situations. Enjoy!
Thanks for this. I hadn't realised groups were using Capoeira like this. I think it's a great idea!! I would like to find out more. Lucie
